In 2021, only 2% of venture capital funding was invested in female-founded businesses in the US. 

Citi is supporting women owned businesses in the US and in emerging economies via their Impact Investment Fund, and by 2025 they will have invested in 10 million women globally. 

Launched on March 8th, 2022, International Women’s Day, our campaign uses a visual metaphor to illustrate the obstacles women have to overcome while climbing the corporate ladder, or in our case, escalator.

To realize our vision, we brought together a female-centric crew, working with Director Nicolina Knapp, Choreographer Coral Dolphin, and DP, Sophia Olsson, alongside an almost entirely female agency team.
